WCA is for organizations that decide whether workers are qualified, competent and authorized for assigned duties. It is different from accrediting a learning program, a certification program or the employer as a whole.
Role requirements, verification, competence, reassessment and remediation.
The workplace experience itself is part of a designed learning pathway.
Governance and quality controls for clinical education delivery.
Credential eligibility, assessment and certification decisions.
Accreditation applies only to the defined workforce competency assurance system and the roles, sites, services or organizational units approved in scope.
The system used to verify qualifications, assess competence, authorize independent assignment, maintain competency and respond to gaps.
Defined workforce populations, high-risk roles, sites, services or organizational units confirmed during scope review.
Individual employees, professional licenses, external credentials, unrelated HR functions or the employer as a whole.

The free eligibility review confirms that WCA is the right pathway and that the proposed workforce competency system is mature enough for formal review.
No fee and no commitment.
Application fee after scope confirmation and signed agreement.
Review balance when evidence is submitted.
WCA follows the same independent seven-stage accreditation architecture used across CHSPS pathways.
Confirm WCA fit and proposed workforce scope.
Receive written scope confirmation and execute the applicant agreement.
Submit role frameworks, verification records, competency evidence, assessor records and performance data.
Conflict-screened reviewers evaluate CORE-100 + WCA-410 evidence.
Resolve findings and provide corrective evidence where required.
A separate decision body determines accreditation status.
Approved scope, dates and status become publicly verifiable.
Independent review of the controls that determine whether people are truly ready and authorized to perform safety-critical work.
External evaluation of the system behind qualification, competency and authorization decisions.
Review of whether independent assignment occurs only after required qualifications and competence are documented.
Focused review of critical skills, temporary workers, lapsed requirements and remediation.
A CHSPS record identifying the exact accredited workforce competency scope and current status.
If you are assuring employees can perform assigned duties, WCA is usually the fit. If the workplace experience itself is the structured learning program, review WBL instead.
WCA remains a continuing relationship throughout the three-year term. ACC-109 governs the common maintenance cycle.
Technical transparency remains available without making every accreditation buyer read the measure system before understanding the engagement.
CHSPS reference criteria are controlled technical references, not observed industry averages and not automatic accreditation thresholds unless a normative standard expressly incorporates them.
Percent of active workforce with every required credential current.
Percent current on all role-required competency assessments.
New workers independently assigned only after required competence is documented.
Required remediation completed within defined timeframes.
Temporary workforce meeting the same defined assurance requirements.
Authorized assessors meeting calibration and currency requirements.
The controlled standard remains authoritative for clause-level requirements, evidence expectations and review interpretation.
CHSPS education is optional, separately operated and has no influence on accreditation findings or decisions.
CHSPS webinars on the standards, the review and readiness planning. Registration is free.
See webinars$5,500 for the initial specialty review: the $1,250 application fee when you sign the applicant agreement, then the $4,250 review balance when you submit evidence. After that, $1,500 a year and a $3,500 renewal review every 3 years. A concurrent additional specialty scope in the same organization is $2,750. The eligibility review is free.
The free eligibility review targets a written outcome within 10 business days after a complete inquiry. CHSPS does not publish a single planning target for this pathway; the review timeline is stated in writing at scope confirmation, before you pay anything.
Nothing to upload. Step 1 asks only for your name, email and organization; the rest of the form covers scope, operating status and readiness, in about 5 minutes. Formal evidence comes after the agreement is signed: role frameworks, verification records, competency evidence, assessor records and performance data.

Every eligibility review ends in a written outcome: Eligible, Potentially Eligible — Additional Information Required, or Not Eligible, with the specific thresholds not yet met. There is no charge for the review, and if a different CHSPS pathway fits better, the review says so.
Confirm whether WCA is the right pathway and what workforce competency scope would be reviewed before any paid application step.
