Prepare for Remote Examination Administration Accreditation

A step-by-step, non-scored preparation path that shows applicants what to organize, what reviewers will trace and how scope is defined.

Preparation sequence

Seven steps from scope definition to an audit-ready evidence file

1

Define the proposed scope

A defined remote-examination administration service and the examination environments, technologies and operating functions approved in scope.

2

Read the standard stack

Use CHSPS-CORE-100 + CHSPS-REA-220. Mark every requirement as applicable, not applicable with rationale, or needing evidence.

3

Build the controlled evidence index

Link each applicable requirement to the authoritative policy, record, report, system output or sample that demonstrates implementation.

4

Test implementation with tracers

Trace real operations such as candidate check-in to session closure and identity exception.

5

Close material gaps

Correct the immediate condition, identify cause, assign corrective action and verify effectiveness when risk or recurrence warrants it.

6

Complete internal management review

Confirm scope, unresolved risk, evidence integrity, staffing, vendors, changes and readiness for independent review.

7

Submit the eligibility and scope inquiry

CHSPS confirms fit and scope before formal application and secure evidence submission.

No predictive pass score. CHSPS accreditation decisions are requirement- and evidence-based. A single unresolved high-risk control failure can matter more than many complete low-risk records.
CHSPS-REA-220

Organize evidence around the published standard

The cards below summarize the controlled standard structure. The PDF and machine record remain authoritative.

01

Governance

Show accountable governance for remote examination operations, defined authorities, policy ownership, risk escalation, service review, incident oversight, change approval and evidence that governance decisions are implemented.

02

Candidate readiness

Show candidate-facing technical and environmental requirements, pre-exam checks, instructions, support and readiness confirmation, including representative cases where requirements were not initially met.

03

Identity

Show the identity-verification process, acceptable evidence, technology and human review, exception or mismatch handling, escalation, adjudication and representative session records.

04

Environment

Show workspace and environment controls, prohibited conditions, check procedures, documentation, exception handling and representative evidence that the approved environment was established before testing.

05

Proctor competence

Show proctor selection, role authorization, training, competency assessment, calibration or quality review, escalation authority and ongoing performance monitoring.

06

Technology

Show platform and endpoint controls, compatibility requirements, release or configuration management, monitoring, support, integration dependencies, interruption handling and representative operational records.

07

Privacy

Show data collection and use, notices or consent where applicable, recording and retention controls, access restrictions, secure transfer, deletion or disposition and handling of privacy concerns or incidents.

08

Accessibility

Show accommodation and accessibility processes across scheduling, technology, proctor instructions and session delivery, including pre-test validation, exception handling and representative completed cases.

09

Incident handling

Show incident classification, reporting, triage, evidence preservation, candidate communication, escalation, disposition, reschedule or invalidation decisions, corrective action and closure.

10

Human oversight

Show where human judgment is required for flags, identity issues, environmental concerns, interruptions or other consequential decisions, including reviewer authority, escalation and retained decision records.

11

Continuity

Show downtime and service-disruption procedures, alternate arrangements, communication, recovery priorities, restoration testing, reschedule controls and evidence from exercises or actual interruptions.

12

Performance

Show service, integrity and quality measures, session and incident trends, support or interruption data, reviewer or proctor quality monitoring, management review and completed improvement actions.

Implementation review

Expect reviewers to trace real operations, not only policies.

Representative tracerWhat to be ready to show
candidate check-in to session closureTrace one completed remote examination from scheduling and readiness through identity verification, environment check, launch, monitoring, interruptions or flags, closure and retained session record.
identity exceptionTrace one identity mismatch or exception from detection through evidence review, human escalation, candidate communication, decision, downstream session handling and retained adjudication record.
technology interruptionTrace one interruption from detection through support contact, evidence capture, continuity or recovery action, candidate communication, restart or reschedule decision, restoration and closure.
reschedule or accommodation caseTrace one reschedule or accommodation request through intake, authorization, scheduling or configuration changes, proctor instructions, completed session and confirmation that the approved conditions were delivered.
