Controlled documents & operating rules

Policies & Procedures

The public rules that govern CHSPS ethics, standards development, accreditation, reviewer independence, applicant rights, records, funding safeguards and the use of accreditation claims.

Controlled-document rule. Published controlled policies govern according to their stated edition and effective date. Consolidated manuals are provided for convenience; where a manual, website summary and underlying controlled policy differ, the underlying controlled policy governs.
Downloadable manuals

Two manuals cover the operating system without duplicating every page.

These PDFs group the policies most useful to directors, staff, reviewers, applicants, accredited organizations and external stakeholders.

What is intentionally not added. CHSPS does not need separate public policies for every office scenario. Corporate bylaws, ordinary personnel procedures, routine procurement steps and facility rules may be maintained internally. The public library focuses on rules that protect mission integrity, stakeholder rights and accreditation/standards operations.
