Applicant stays explicit
Each formal accreditation engagement identifies the legal entity that is the Applicant and the exact accredited program/system/course scope. A parent company or payer does not automatically become accredited.
How CHSPS coordinates several certifications, courses, assessment-based credentials, specialty scopes or Certified Systems — reusing genuinely shared evidence while preserving separate decisions, status classes and public records.
This visual shows the portfolio logic: one organization can support many recognitions, but each public accreditation still stands on its own evidence and decision record.
Each CERT, COURSE, ABC and specialty accreditation receives its own review, decision, accreditation number and verification records. Each Certified System receives its own scoped certification record. Add-ons, supplements and scope modules attach only to the approved parent or named system; one record never implies recognition of a sibling program or product.
Education Provider Accreditation (CHSPS-EDP) works the other way: one accreditation covering your education production system, with reviewers sampling live offerings from the catalog each cycle to verify the system operates.
The CHSPS-CORE-100 requirements — governance, impartiality, ethics, records, quality management — are organizational. In a coordinated application they are reviewed once per cycle and credited to every concurrent program review. Only the program-specific standards are reviewed per program.
Core-level exception: because CORE-100 is organizational, a major Core nonconformity (for example, a governance or impartiality failure) affects every record that relies on it — CHSPS may pause all in-flight reviews or open a for-cause review across the portfolio until it is corrected. Program-level findings never spread this way.
For EDP system reviews — and for course portfolios of four or more — reviewers verify operation by sampling: at minimum the square root of the offering count (rounded up), never fewer than two, re-drawn each cycle so coverage rotates. High-risk or high-volume offerings are always in the sample.
A corporate group, health system, association family or shared-services organization may administer several related applicant entities in one My CHSPS portfolio. The account can centralize users, task visibility, course purchases, membership seats and billing preferences while preserving the legal and technical separation of each accreditation.
Each formal accreditation engagement identifies the legal entity that is the Applicant and the exact accredited program/system/course scope. A parent company or payer does not automatically become accredited.
A group-controlled policy or system record may be stored once and linked to multiple entities when it genuinely applies. Each applicant entity confirms applicability; cross-entity reuse does not automatically create Core-review credit.
A parent/shared-services office can administer payment, POs and cost centers for several entities. Underlying invoices and decisions remain tied to their applicant entity and accreditation record.
| Situation | How it’s priced |
|---|---|
| First certification program | $6,500 total first-program review (includes the $1,500 application fee and organizational Core review) |
| Each additional certification program, same organization | $2,500 — Core already reviewed |
| Courses 1–3 | $1,200 per course |
| Courses 4–9 (coordinated) | $950 per course |
| 10+ courses | CHSPS will recommend EDP system accreditation. If the organization elects individual COURSE reviews instead, the coordinated review rate remains $950 per additional course after course 3, subject to scope confirmation. |
| Annual fees, course portfolios | $350 per course, capped at $3,150 per organization (9 courses; the tenth course does not increase the annual fee) |
| Second core pathway reviewed concurrently (e.g., CERT + EDP) | 15% off the second general pathway’s review fee — one Core review serves both |
| Consolidated annual report | Included — one report per organization regardless of record count |
Portfolio pricing reflects genuine review efficiency only. No combination of fees purchases or influences an accreditation outcome.
One coordinated application. Core reviewed once; four CERT-200 supplement reviews. First cycle total (including the $1,500 application fee credited within the first-program amount): $6,500 + 3 × $2,500 = $14,000, four separate decisions, four verification records under one organization profile, one consolidated annual report.
EDP accredits the production system (reviewers sample √30 → 6 courses per cycle). The two flagship offerings that carry the biggest market claims add individual COURSE records on top. System credibility plus named-course proof, without 30 separate reviews.
One Core review serves all three. First cycle total (with pathway application-fee credits included in the stated review totals): $6,500 + $2,500 + EDP review $3,900 − 15% = $12,315. Certification accreditation renews on a 5-year term; EDP, COURSE and specialty accreditations use 3-year terms — or may be aligned where the published portfolio rules permit.
The Verify Accreditation groups all of an organization’s records on one organization profile — but each accreditation keeps its own number, scope, dates, status and verification record. If one program is suspended, its record says so while sibling records remain accurate. Marketing must follow the same per-record discipline: “Programs X and Y are CHSPS-accredited” is correct; “we are a CHSPS-accredited organization” is not, unless the accredited scope is itself organization-level (an EDP system scope or an organization-scope specialty accreditation such as MSS, WCA or AIG).
